Can we talk about how real brand photography should feel?

I’ve had the privilege of photographing Jade Binstead; Commercial Director for OOKKEE, Founder of The Ribbons Network, radio host for Glow Radio, public speaker and mum (the most important role of all) across multiple sessions over the past 18 months. And every time, I’m reminded of just how powerful it is when a person knows who they are and shows up with intention.

Jade wears many hats, but at the heart of absolutely everything she does is community. She’s built businesses that thrive on connection whether she’s on stage speaking, leading her team, or supporting other business owners through her own experience.

People sit at computer workstations in a modern office space with blue lighting visible in the background.
Professional speaker gestures while giving a business presentation to an audience in a bright modern office space.
A radio station studio setup with multiple monitors and broadcasting equipment on a desk.

What makes Jade’s sessions so special is her approach. Before every shoot, she takes the time to plan her content, think about her message, and align her imagery with her marketing goals. But she also brings trust and openness which means we can capture those moments that can’t be planned: the genuine laughter, the stillness between takes, and the spark that makes her who she is.

Person in black and white houndstooth top sits on coral couch with monstera plant in modern interior setting.

Her latest session wasn’t about celebrating job titles or achievements. It was about capturing the woman who brings energy, empathy, and authenticity to everything she does.

A sequence of four images showing a person in black lying upside down in different positions on a tan leather couch.

What I love most is how she uses her imagery. Jade shows up consistently on LinkedIn, using her photos to tell stories, share insights, celebrate her team, and let her audience see the real person behind her businesses. It’s a reminder that your brand photos aren’t just for your website they’re touch-points across every part of how people experience you.

Have a look at what powerful, strategic imagery can do: and how it helps people trust you before they even meet you.
