(and Feel 100% Like You on the Day)
If you’ve booked a Branding Session, first off yay! You’ve made such a smart move for your business. These sessions are strategic, fun and designed to give you a bank of on-brand photos you can use across your marketing with ease.
To help you feel calm, confident and camera-ready, here’s how to prepare without overthinking it.
1. Plan Outfits That Feel Like You
The best photos happen when you’re comfortable. Choose one or two outfits that reflect how you actually show up for your business. Think about your colours, textures and layers, nothing too tight or fussy. If you’re torn between looks, bring both and we can mix them up on the day.
2. Gather a Few Simple Props
You don’t need to bring a suitcase of stuff. A few small, meaningful items work wonders: your laptop, notebook, phone, favourite mug, or a few business tools that make sense for your brand. Props help tell your story and give you something natural to do with your hands.
3. Think About Your Brand Vibe
Are you calm and grounded, creative and bold, or warm and approachable? Having this in mind helps shape your poses, locations and overall feel of your images.
4. Rest, Hydrate, and Don’t Overthink It
The most important prep? Sleep and water. You don’t need to lose sleep over posing I’ll guide you every step of the way. Come as you are, and we’ll capture the version of you that your clients already love.
5. Make Time for You
Have a coffee, play your favourite music, or take a walk before your session. When you feel good, it shows.
Your mini branding session is all about authenticity, confidence and connection not perfection. You’ll leave with a gallery that feels like you, ready to use everywhere.
