Once your gallery is live, the real fun begins  getting those images working hard for you. Every photo can help you be seen, recognised and remembered. Here’s how to make the most of them.

1. Use Them Everywhere (With Intention)

Think website banners, blog headers, speaker bios, social media and newsletters. Each platform connects with a slightly different audience, so mix up your images and keep things fresh.

2. Add Alt Text and File Names

to help with seo

Rename your images before uploading them. For example, instead of “IMG_3021.jpg”, try “personal-brand-photography-woman-dancing-natural-moment-home-office.jpg”.

Add alt text that describes what’s happening in the image (for example, “Woman wearing a black sleeveless top and cream trousers dancing with her arms raised beside a wooden desk with a plant, mug and open laptop.”). This helps your website SEO and makes your content more accessible.

3. Create a Content Library

Store your images in folders: “Social”, “Website”, “Press”, “Behind the Scenes”. This saves time when you need visuals quickly.

4. Keep Your Feed Consistent

Mix portraits, working shots, and details so your content feels authentic and balanced. Remember, people connect with personality, not perfection.

5. Keep Using Them

Don’t wait for a rebrand to refresh your marketing. Use your photos often and with confidence. The more you show up, the more familiar your brand becomes.

Your brand photography isn’t a one-off investment, it's an ongoing tool to tell your story with clarity and heart.
